Mustad Oto Diving Pencil 160

Mustad has been developing the Oto pencil in Japan for several years now, and they’ve finally made their way over to the US. These lures have been specifically designed for  targeting picky eaters, especially Cali Yellowtail, Amberjack and Yellowtail Kingfish.

The interior body design is highly reflective and mimics bone structure in fish to make them more attractive. They’ve also added a reflective blade on the belly, which adds to the action of the lure in the water. Each lure is rigged with Mustad Jaw Lok inline treble hooks, but they also work well with inline singles and double assist hooks, which have been popular in Japan.
