Hi gang! We are starting a contest here at Been There Caught That that should be fun and make 25 people very happy!
We are looking for a Fishing Video, no longer than two and a half minutes, that features catching fish with BTCT SeaSlugs (their proper name) or any of our BTCT Brand Baits and/or Lures. It doesn’t matter if you are fishing on a party boat, your own boat, a kayak, or a pier or jetty. No music, just commentary: It’s against the law to use another artist’s recording.
We will pick the best 25 videos, and put them up on our website, as well as on Youtube.com. Everyone who submits a video we put up gets a $25 gift certificate from BTCT. If your video is one of the top ten in unique views on Youtube.com you get another $50 gift certificate from BTCT. If your video is chosen to be Songified (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/songify/id438735719?mt=8), you will get a total of a $150 gift certificate from BTCT.

The top viewed video that becomes Songified and is the favorite of all the BTCT videos, you will get a Hand Made-to-order Custom Rod from Been There Caught That, wrapped by Mitsu using only the finest blank and guides possible! 100% your choice of colors, amount of guides, length of rod (within reason), tip, and your name on the rod sealed in a clear varnish. That is a prize worth $400! Remember: You have to use BTCT SeaSlugs, Swimbaits, Scampis, or irons to catch fish in the video; no music; title it Been There Caught That SeaSlugs (or swimbait, etc.). We have the valuable input and help from Louis Fernandes, who managed to place third in the FLW on the California Delta his first year as a pro! He helps us choose the best of the bass gear for us to carry for you. We are proud to sponsor this fine young man in his endeavors as a professional bass tournament fisherman.
We are constantly seeking new ways and new gear that makes fishing more fun, increases your catch, and makes you more comfortable and capable of achieving your fishing goals.
We believe that the family that fishes together, stays together, and passes on a wonderful legacy of sharing, patience, and developing many of the necessary skills that not only aid all of us in fishing, but in life as well.
We support many charities and organizations, as well as events, on the California Central Coast. We will be bringing you more information as we continue to expand this site.
